Frequently asked questions
How does Sino Sourcing work?
Sino Sourcing gives you direct access to Chinese factories and wholesalers, with an automatically translated catalog and all-inclusive prices displayed in your local currency. You search for your product and pay by mobile money or bank card; our team in China then buys from the supplier, receives the goods at our warehouse and ships them to your country, customs clearance included. You follow every step from your account until delivery. No Chinese account, no Mandarin and no minimum order are required.
Which payment methods do you accept?
We accept MTN Mobile Money, Orange Money, bank cards (Visa, Mastercard) and the reloadable Sino Sourcing account balance. All payments are made in your local currency — no international wire transfer or foreign-currency account needed. In practice: you pick your payment method at checkout, receive a validation prompt on your phone (mobile money) or are redirected to a secure payment page (card), and your order is confirmed as soon as the payment is validated. If a logistics balance remains due after your parcel is weighed, you can pay it from your account with the same payment methods. Available methods adapt automatically to your country.
How long does delivery take?
Delivery usually takes 15 to 20 business days for standard products and 25 to 30 business days for sensitive products (lithium batteries, liquids, aerosols, perfumes…), whose air freight requires specific IATA documentation. This covers the whole chain: purchase from the Chinese supplier, transfer to our China warehouse, checking and weighing, international flight, customs clearance and availability in your country. For bulky orders, sea freight (billed per cubic meter) is cheaper but slower: allow 45 to 60 business days to Cameroon. You are notified at every step and can track your order in real time.
Are the displayed prices all-inclusive?
Yes! The price shown on every product page includes the product, international transport and customs clearance fees. Air freight is billed per kilogram and sea freight per cubic meter (CBM). No extra fee will be charged on arrival.
What is an IATA-sensitive product?
A sensitive product is a good classified as dangerous for air transport by IATA regulations: lithium batteries (class 9), flammable liquids and perfumes (class 3), aerosols and gases (class 2), flammable solids (class 4) or corrosive materials (class 8). Our system detects these products automatically when you order. They are shipped through a dedicated logistics tier, with its own per-kilogram rate adapted to dangerous-goods air freight, and their delivery time is 25 to 30 business days instead of 15 to 20. This handling prevents any customs blockage.
Can I order any product from China?
In the vast majority of cases, yes: the catalog covers electronics, fashion, home, beauty, machinery, auto parts and many other categories — hundreds of millions of references. Products containing batteries, liquids or aerosols remain orderable: they are simply handled as sensitive products, with a dedicated logistics tier and adapted delivery time. Only items forbidden for import or international transport (obvious counterfeits, weapons, illegal substances) cannot be shipped. When in doubt, our team checks feasibility before buying from the supplier.
How do I track my order?
Log into your account (website or mobile app) and open “My orders” to see the live status: order sent to the factory, goods received, checked and weighed at our China warehouse, international shipping with a tracking number, arrival in your country, then availability at the pickup point. A notification alerts you at every step (app push, e-mail or WhatsApp depending on your preferences). The international tracking number appears on the order detail as soon as the parcel leaves China, and the exact pickup point is shared once the order is available.
What if my product arrives damaged?
Contact our support within 48 hours of receipt, with photos, from the in-app chat or WhatsApp: we review every claim and, if the damage is confirmed, you are refunded to your account balance, immediately reusable. To reduce this risk at the source, we offer an optional quality inspection: when your goods reach our China warehouse, our team inspects them, sends you photos and a report, and you approve (or reject) the shipment within 48 hours. If you reject with a valid reason, the product is returned to the supplier and you are refunded — the problem is solved before the parcel even leaves China.
Can I cancel my order?
You can cancel your order as long as the Chinese supplier has not shipped the goods: open the order detail and use the cancel button, or contact support. The amount paid is then refunded to your account balance, immediately reusable for another order. If the order was already sent to the factory, our team handles the cancellation and the return with the Chinese supplier — any local delivery fees already incurred in China may be deducted from the refund. Once the goods have shipped internationally, cancellation is no longer possible; in that case, use the claim process upon receipt.
Is there a minimum order?
No, Sino Sourcing imposes no minimum order: you can buy a single item and have it delivered. However, some Chinese suppliers set their own minimum quantity per reference (the MOQ, “minimum order quantity”): for instance 2, 5 or 10 units to get the displayed factory price. The MOQ is always shown on the product page, and the unit price may drop in tiers as quantity increases — the supplier price tiers are displayed on the page. The product page simulator recalculates the all-inclusive price automatically for any quantity.
